In workshops, air from the hydraulic clutch drive is removed using a special device. With some skill, the air can be removed independently and without great expense. Air is removed in much the same way as from a brake actuator. At the same time, it is also necessary to observe the safety rules when handling poisonous brake fluid. Never suck liquid out by mouth through the hose.
1. Mount the front of the car on the gantry, remove the lower engine cover,
2. Check the level in the common tank with brake fluid, if necessary add fluid to the maximum mark.
3. Remove the cap from the air valve on the slave cylinder and one of the front wheel brakes to carefully clean the valves. Loosen the valve about one and a half turns.
4. Connect both valves with a hose.
5. Ask an assistant to slowly depress the brake pedal. When the pedal is fully depressed, close the valve on the brake. After that, you can release the pedal. In this way, pump the brake fluid from the front wheel brake through the hydraulic clutch. Do not press the pedal too hard, otherwise the hose may slip off.
6. Monitor the level of brake fluid in the reservoir, the fluid should not fall below the minimum mark.
7. When air bubbles removed from the hydraulic clutch drive stop appearing in the brake fluid reservoir, close both valves and remove the hose. The hydraulic drive has been bled of air.
8. After removal of air once again check up level of a liquid in a tank.
