Removal
1. Disconnect the wiring from the air flow sensor (MAF) on the air cleaner cover. Disconnect the small hose as well.
2. Release the wiring and hose from the fasteners on the air filter cover.
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air duct from the air filter cover.
4. Release the spring clips and remove the air cleaner cover and remove its sweep element as described in chapter 1A. The sensor is fragile and requires delicate handling.
5. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the air filter (Fig. 2.5).

6. To remove the remaining air ducts, apply the handbrake, raise the front of the car and place it on safety supports. Remove the protective cover installed under the radiator.
7. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the U-hose from the intercooler and air pipe on the left side of the engine compartment.
8. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air filter hose to the right of the air pipe, then remove the pipe.
9. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the rear air ducts from the intercooler and intake manifold. Disconnect the wiring and hoses, unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the air ducts.
Installation
10. Installation - reverse procedure.
