2. On carbureted models, drain the coolant from the system, then disconnect the coolant tubes and vacuum hoses. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the heater (photo).
3. On fuel injected models, remove the auxiliary air valve and cold start valve.
4. Unscrew the bolts and nut, remove the holder hanger from the intake and exhaust manifolds. Remove the gasket and washers from the exhaust manifold struts (photo).
5. Loosen the mounting bolts, using a socket wrench where necessary, and remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the gasket (photo).
6. On carburetor models, remove the O-ring and unscrew the carburetor flange (photo).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the contact surfaces are clean and install a new gasket. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified tightening torque Specification. Fill the cooling system according to Section 2.
