Halogen headlights
1. Precise adjustment of headlights is only possible with special optical equipment and therefore must be performed at a dealership service center.
2. The headlights are adjusted using screws, which can be accessed from the top of the headlight (see fig. paragraph 9 chapter 12).
3. Some models are equipped with electric headlight corrector systems which are operated by a switch on the front panel. Before making adjustments, such models must first be set to zero.
Xenon (gas discharge) headlights
4. The direction of the headlight beam is adjusted automatically by an electronic device that receives signals from sensors installed in the front and rear suspensions. Light adjustment can only be performed using specialized VAG equipment.
