
2. Apply the handbrake, raise the vehicle and install safety supports. The vehicle must be level for accurate measurements.
3. Unscrew the plug.
4. The oil level should be 7 mm below the lower edge of the filler hole. Measure the level using a bent welding electrode or a piece of wire.
5. If necessary, add the prescribed type of oil, bringing the level to the prescribed level. If the oil requires frequent topping up, make sure there are no leaks, and fix any that are found.
6. Screw the plug back in and tighten it to the specified torque. Then lower the vehicle.
