Removal
1. The radio is equipped with special fasteners that require the use of a special tool supplied with the car or available to interior equipment repair specialists for removal. You can also make a homemade tool (Fig. 19.1).

2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery as described in paragraph 1.
3. Insert the pullers into the holes at the bottom or at the bottom and top edge of the radio (depends on the model).
4. Then push the pullers in until they stop (Fig. 19.4).

5. Remove the radio from the "box", disconnect the speaker, antenna and power connectors. Some models are equipped with fuses installed at the rear.
Installation
6. Installation is the reverse procedure. Insert the radio until the latches click into place. If the radio has a secret code, you must enter it before turning it on.
