1. The loudspeakers are installed in the trim panels of the front and rear doors and in the rear shelf. On Avant models, an additional "subwoofer" - a low-frequency loudspeaker - is installed behind the left side of the luggage compartment. Separate mid- and high-frequency loudspeakers are installed in the trim panels of the front doors of all models.

4. Installation - reverse procedure. Pay attention to the terminal pole marks.



Loudspeakers mounted in the rear shelf



5. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest as described in chapter 11.

6. Remove the cover from the third brake light as described in paragraph 7, disconnect the wiring connector and remove the cartridge.

7. Disconnect the lower seat belt anchors from the body as described in chapter 11. Remove the belt height adjustment mechanisms from the rear seat.

10. Installation - reverse procedure. Pay attention to the speaker pole marks. Tighten the seat belt fasteners to the specified torques

Subwoofer (avant models)



11. Remove the rear seat cushion and backrest as described in chapter 11.

12. Bend back the tabs of the side decorative panels of the rear seat backs, unhook the upper edges of the panels and remove them.

13. Remove the left door opening seal.

14. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear door sill trim.

15. Unclip the left rear seat belt cover and remove it from the luggage compartment trim panel.

16. Remove the rear seatback latch cover and remove it from the trim panel.

17. Remove the luggage compartment tray (if provided).

18. Loosen the screws and remove the cargo securing eyes from the left side of the luggage compartment.



19. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the left trim panel.

20. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the subwoofer and its mounting plate from the resonator. Once accessible, disconnect the wiring.

21. Installation - reverse procedure.
