Fifth Door Windscreen Wiper Motor — Removal and Installation (Audi A4 B5)

1. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Remove the door trim panel as described in paragraph 14 of chapter 11.

3. Remove the wiper blade and arm as described in paragraph 13. Unscrew the spindle nut. Remove the washers.

4. Disconnect the wiring connector from the motor and the injector hose.

5. Unscrew the motor base mounting bolts and remove the motor together with the base of the removed door (Fig. 15.5).



6. Installation - reverse procedure. Make sure the wiper arm is installed correctly in its original position.
