2. Windshield washer(lei) tanks, headlights (if provided) are installed on the left side of the engine compartment. Some models have a separate headlight washer reservoir, installed next to the windshield washer reservoir. A connecting tube allows both reservoirs to be filled through a common neck. The windshield washer pump is mounted on the side of the reservoir (Fig. 14.2).
3. The fifth door glass washer reservoir is installed behind the trim panel on the right in the luggage compartment. The pump is mounted on the side of the reservoir.
4. The tanks should be filled with a special non-freezing cleaning liquid, but not antifreeze - see Weekly Checks.
5. The system hoses are connected via rubber tips - easy to remove.
6. The washer nozzles are cleaned with a tailor's pin. The correct direction of the jet is considered to be its hitting the middle of the windshield wiper operating zone.
7. Adjusting the headlight washer nozzles requires the use of a special tool available to dealership service specialists.
