Washer fluid level (Audi A4 B5)

Additives to the washer fluid are intended not only to keep the windshield clean in bad weather, but also to prevent the washer system from freezing in the cold - exactly when it is needed most. Do not add water alone to the washer reservoir, so as not to over-dilute the washing fluid and prevent it from freezing in the cold. Under no circumstances should you use antifreeze in the washer, as it can damage the paintwork of the car.

1. Windshield and rear window washer fluid reservoir (if installed) located on the front left side of the engine compartment. If necessary, refill by opening the cover.



2. When adding washer fluid, dilute it with water according to the instructions on the fluid packaging. Using a funnel will not be superfluous.
