2. If the wiper arms are not returned to their original position, turn on the ignition and allow the wiper motor to do so.
3. Before removing the leash, mark its position on the windshield by sticking a strip of tape along the brush. Open the cover and unscrew the fastening nut. Remove the washer and pull the leash off the spindle, slightly rocking it from side to side.
4. Installation - reverse procedure. Before tightening the nut to the specified torque, orient the leash according to the glued strip of tape.

5. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.
6. Remove the leads as described above.
7. Unclip both sections of the windshield deflector panel and remove it from the firewall.
8. Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the wiper drive unit, disconnecting the wiring connector when accessible. Remove the bushing installed in the central support.
9. To remove the motor from the rod, carefully unhook the rod from the hinge on the motor, unscrew the three mounting bolts and remove the motor.
Installation
10. Installation - reverse procedure. Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque. Carefully attach the water deflector panel.
