Withdrawal
Note: The valve is built into the vacuum hose and is not available separately as a spare part.
1. Carefully disconnect the vacuum hose from the servo booster, being careful not to damage the seal.
2. Disconnect the hose from all attachments, remembering its installation.
3. Loosen clamp (s) and disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold or vacuum pump and remove it from the vehicle.
Examination
4. Check the condition of the hose along its entire length, if necessary, replace it. The valve can be checked by blowing it in both directions - air should pass only in one direction: from the side of the amplifier. If the valve does not purge or purges in both directions, replace it.
5. A damaged rubber seal must also be replaced.
Installation
6. Install the rubber seal in the booster. Insert the valve tip into the seal, being careful not to dislodge or damage it.
7. Lay the hose correctly, connect it to the intake manifold or vacuum pump and tighten the clamp securely (s).
8. Finally, start the engine and check for vacuum leaks.
