Removal
Note: The valve is built into the vacuum hose and is not supplied separately as spare parts.
1. Carefully disconnect the vacuum hose from the servo booster, being careful not to damage the seal.
2. Disconnect the hose from all fasteners, remembering its placement.
3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold or vacuum pump and remove it from the vehicle.
Examination
4. Check the condition of the hose along its entire length, replace it if necessary. The valve can be checked by blowing it in both directions - air should pass only in one direction: from the booster side. If the valve is not blown or is blown in both directions, it is replaced.
5. A damaged rubber seal must also be replaced.
Installation
6. Install the rubber seal into the amplifier. Insert the valve tip into the seal, being careful not to displace or damage it.
7. Route the hose correctly, connect it to the intake manifold or vacuum pump and tighten the clamp securely.
8. Finally, start the engine and check for vacuum leaks.
