V-belt and poly-V-belt (Audi A4 B5)

With a six-cylinder engine, all auxiliary units operate from a wide drive belt - a poly V-belt. Thanks to an automatic tensioner roller, this belt should last 120,000 km before a preventive replacement is required.

With a four-cylinder engine, there is also such a poly-V belt with automatic tensioning for the generator, servo pump and viscous fan. But in this case, there are other belts:
