Dismantling of anti-shock bars
Unfortunately, the lacquered side trims cannot be removed from the doors without destroying them. Those who are ambitious can try to remove the bar by preheating it with a hair dryer to 40°C. Then wring out the plank from the cladding with a screwdriver wrapped in a rag (to protect varnish). On the reverse side of the doors wring out the black plugs.
1. During installation, the metal surface of the door or wing must be clean, free of dust and grease. In addition, the metal and lath should be at room temperature.
2. Remove the protective film from the strip just before installation.
3. Insert the plank with the pins into the holes, align and press in the area to be glued - especially at the ends.
4. Press the bar in addition, pressing hard on it (100 N/cm2), or roll it with a wallpaper roller.
5. Hardening time (4 hours) the car must be at room temperature.
