Damage resulting from accidents (Audi A4 B5)

The synthetic bumpers of the Audi A4 return to their original shape almost perfectly even after severe collisions. Therefore, sometimes damage to parts behind the bumper remains undetected. After an accident, be sure to check the following parts:

• the front part of the bumper under the license plate,
• bracket behind the bumper (replaceable; three bolts),
• bumper body mount,
• lower edge of the hood,
• radiator grille.
