Indicator (fault lamp) should flash 25 times per second. The control unit will switch to the emergency parameter field, the lambda control will turn off.
Remove the seal on the CO adjustment screw -A-. To do this, pierce it, screw in a suitable screw and then pull it out along with the seal.
Set the CO value with the adjusting screw using a screwdriver. The fan must not be running!
Attention: If the LED (lamp) Illuminates despite correct CO control, it means that the Ecotronic control unit may not be receiving a speed signal.
Insert new fillings.
Attach the crankcase breather hose to the cylinder head.
Attention: If now the CO content increases, the reason is not an incorrect adjustment, but an enrichment of the mixture from the crankcase due to dilution of the oil by gasoline during short trips in cold weather.
With a longer trip, the gasoline content in the oil decreases and the CO content returns to normal. This can be achieved quickly with a 30 minute drive or an oil change.
Stop the engine and turn off the tachometer.
Remove the CO measuring device from the measuring tube. Close measuring tube.
Connect the lambda probe cable plug.
Remove the indicator lamp and the auxiliary cable from the diagnostic plug.
