1. Remove the front suspension strut together with the wheel bearing housing as described in Chapter 3.
2. Loosen the screw and remove the brake disc from the hub.
3. Remove the screws, remove the mudguard.
4. Support the wheel bearing housing, hub down (photo), and push or knock out the hub. The inner race of the bearing will remain on the hub and therefore the bearing cannot be reused. Use an extractor to remove the inner race from the hub.
5. Remove the circlips, then while supporting the wheel bearing housing, press out or knock out the bearing.
6. Clean the hub and recess in the wheel bearing housing.
7. Install the outer retaining ring, then while supporting the wheel bearing housing, drive in the new bearing using the metal tube on the outer ring only. Install the inner circlip.
8. Position the hub with the bearing arm up, then insert the bearing and housing using the metal tube on the inner ring only.
9. Install the mudguard and brake disc, tighten the disc screw, then install the front suspension strut, guided Chapter 3.
