Place the vehicle on a lift. Remove the wheels. When removing and installing, do not damage the paint of the stabilizer. Depending on the engine type, remove the rear exhaust muffler. Remove bolt -4- on left and right. The stabilizer -4- is removed and installed complete with rubber supports -1 - and clamps -3-. Do not remove the clamps and rubber supports. Unscrew bolts -2- on left and right and remove stabilizer -4- with connecting rods.
Unscrew and remove the connecting rod from the stabilizer.
Installation
Install in reverse order. In this case, tightening torques must be taken into account. Silent blocks have a limited working range of twisting. Therefore, wheel suspension bolts should only be tightened when the vehicle is in the no-load or standard suspension position. Raise the wheel support with the suspension in static position on vehicles with coil springs. Install the connecting rod to the stabilizer and hand-tighten the bolted connection. Install the stabilizer and lightly tighten the bolts -4-right and left. First tighten bolts -2- on the left and right. Then tighten bolts -2- on left and right evenly. Tighten bolt -1 - and nut -3- on left and right. Tighten bolt -4- on left and right. It is necessary to adjust the wheel alignment angles. Tighten the wheel.
