Before starting work, measure the distance "a" from the center of the wheel to the lower edge of the wheel arch, while the wheels are still on the car. Install the car on a lift. Remove the wheel. First, unscrew bolt "4". Mark the position of bolt "1" in relation to subframe "2". Unscrew the nut and remove bolt "1". Remove steering rod "5".

Installation

Installation in reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to take into account the tightening torques. The "belts" of the blocks have a limited working range of twisting. Therefore, the bolted connections of the wheel suspension should be tightened only when the car is in the unloaded position or the standard position of the suspension. Raise the wheel support with the static position of the suspension on a car with coil springs. Insert the steering rod "5". The marking "3" ("inverted letter T") on the transverse steering rod "5" should be on the outside and facing up, as shown in the figure.



First, fully insert bolt "1" and align it according to the previously made marking. Insert and tighten bolt "4". Screw on a new bolt nut by hand. Tighten the nut of bolt "1" to the prescribed torque only after adjusting the wheel alignment. Tighten the wheel. It is necessary to adjust the wheel alignment angles.
