Exhaust gas recirculation system
1. Gasket: replace.
2. Bolt.
3. Connecting tube of the system. exhaust gas recirculation.
4. Water hoses.
5. Spring clamp.
6. Radiator system. exhaust gas recirculation.
7. Bracket.
8/9. Bolt: 9 Nm.
10. Gasket.
11. Vacuum tank.
12. Vacuum hose: from the radiator changeover valve of the system. exhaust gas recirculation "N345".
13. Bolt: 7 Nm.
14. Gasket: replace.
15. Bolt: 25 Nm; replace.
Tightening sequence and torque
1. Insert bolts "4" and "5". 2. Insert bolts "1" and "2". 3. Install bolts "3". 4. Tighten screws "1" and "2" to a torque of 20 Nm. 5. Tighten screws "4" and "5" to a torque of 20 Nm. 6. Tighten bolt "3" to a torque of 8 Nm.
Removal and installation of the system radiator. exhaust gas recirculation
Remove the "arrow" engine cover. Remove the air intake housing. filter. Remove vacuum hose "1". Unscrew bolts "2" and "4".
Compress coolant hoses "1" and "2" with clamps up to 25 mm "3094". Unscrew the bolts "arrows" and remove the system cooler. exhaust gas recirculation.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and seals. o-rings. Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the appropriate series. Add coolant.
System valve. eGR "N18" with system potentiometer. exhaust gas recirculation G212-
1. Intake manifold.
2. Bolt.
3. Gasket: replace.
4. Lip seal: replace.
5. Tube: for radiator system. exhaust gas recirculation.
6. Bolt.
7. Gasket: replace.
8. Bolt: 10 Nm.
9. Intake manifold flap motor "V157".
10. Bolt.
11. Bolt: 10 Nm.
12. Oil dipstick guide tube.
13. EGR valve "N18" with system potentiometer. exhaust gas recirculation "G212".
Removal and installation the exhaust gas recirculation valve "N18" with a system potentiometer. exhaust gas recirculation "G212"
Remove the "arrow" engine cover. Remove the intake manifold flap motor "V157". Disconnect connector "1". Unscrew bolts "2" and "3", remove the EGR valve "N18" with the system potentiometer. eGR "G212". "Pos. 4" should not be taken into account.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Replace the gaskets. Install the intake manifold flap motor "V157".
