If the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, it is better to leave the radiator removal to a workshop. An oil radiator is built into the radiator to cool the automatic transmission fluid, the supply line to it must be disconnected. Filling the gearbox with this fluid is problematic.
1. Remove the front bumper.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the quick disconnect fittings at the top and bottom of the radiator. Then unscrew the air ducts from the right and left sides of the radiator.
Before removing the radiator, unscrew the air ducts on the right and left
4. Disconnect connector 1 on the air conditioner pressure switch and connector 2 on the outside temperature sensor. Unfasten both electrical wires. Unscrew the condenser from the radiator; to do this, loosen bolts 3.
5. To avoid damage to the condenser, pipes and hoses, make sure that the pipes and hoses are not twisted, bent or kinked.
Attention! The coolant circulation circuit in the air conditioning system must not be opened!
Disconnect the connectors and unclip the wires
6 To allow the radiator to be removed from the bracket, rotated forward and lifted upward, use a screwdriver to release both fastening bolts.
To remove the radiator from the bracket, you need to unlock and pull up both fastening bolts
7. The radiator is installed in the reverse order.
