If the car is equipped with an automatic transmission, it is better to entrust the removal of the radiator to the workshop. An oil cooler is mounted in the radiator to cool the fluid for automatic transmissions, the connection to it must be disconnected. Filling the gearbox with the specified fluid is problematic.
1. Remove the front bumper.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the quick connectors at the top and bottom of the radiator. Then unscrew the air ducts from the right and left sides of the radiator.
Before removing the radiator, unscrew the air ducts on the right and left
4. Disconnect connector 1 on the pressure switch for the air conditioner and connector 2 on the outside temperature sensor. Unfasten both electrical wires. Unscrew the condenser from the radiator, to do this, loosen the bolts 3.
5. To avoid damage to the condenser, piping and hoses, make sure that the piping and hoses are not twisted, bent or twisted.
Attention! The coolant circuit in the air conditioning system must not be opened!
Disconnect the connectors and unfasten the wires
6 To enable the heatsink to be removed from the bracket, rotated forward and removed from the top, use a screwdriver to release both fixing bolts.
In order to remove the radiator from the bracket, you need to unlock and pull up both fastening bolts
7. The radiator is installed in the reverse order.
