The service reminder display reminds you that an oil change or inspection is due soon. When the service deadline is reached, the corresponding indicator flashes on the combined instrument panel after the ignition is switched on. The flashing continues for approximately one minute after the engine is started. The following messages may appear on the display: "service OEL" or "service iNSP" ("Oil Change" or "Technical Inspection"), This reminds you to have your oil changed and/or inspected at the workshop.

To reset the indicator to zero, Audi workshops use the diagnostic, measurement and information system. If you change the oil yourself, you can reset the service indicator yourself, this process is described in the vehicle's Owner's Manual.
