1. Raise the front of the car on both sides and secure it against falling or slipping with trestle bars.
2. Wheels must be straight.
3. Ask an assistant to turn the steering wheel in one direction or the other (approximately 30°from centerline). If there is too much play in the steering, you will hear knocking.
4. Carefully turn the adjusting screw (arrow) into the lid until no noise is heard in the cabin.

5. After that, make a test drive. After maneuvering or turning, the steering must return to its original position without jamming. If this does not happen, correct the adjustment. After completing the adjustment, lock the adjusting nut with a punch.
