1. Air must be removed from the system if hydraulic system parts have been removed before. First check the oil level, add oil if necessary.
2. Raise the vehicle so that the wheels are off the ground.
3. With the engine off, turn the steering wheel ten times from lock to lock.
4. Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.
5. Lower the car, start the engine and turn the steering wheel ten times from lock to lock again. If the vane pump is not running quietly, repeat the entire process with the car parked.
6. Check the oil level, top up if necessary. Any air that may remain in the system is removed during movement after 10-20 km.
