1. Air must be removed from the system if parts of the hydraulic system have been dismantled before. First check the oil level, top up if necessary.
2. Raise the vehicle so that the wheels are off the ground.
3. With the engine off, turn the steering wheel ten times from lock to lock.
4. Check the oil level, add oil if necessary.
5. Lower the vehicle, start the engine and again turn the steering wheel ten times from lock to lock. If the vane pump is not quiet, repeat the entire process with the vehicle stationary.
6. Check the oil level, add oil if necessary. The air that may remain in the system is removed during the movement after 10-20 km.
