2. Remove the gas-filled shock absorber 5 from the hood. To do this, use a screwdriver to slightly lift the spring clips at both ends of the shock absorber. Then unfasten the shock absorber. During subsequent installation, connect the shock absorber to the spherical journal and fix it. The gas-filled shock absorber tube is installed from the body side.

3. Unscrew nuts 4. Now the hood can be removed. If you want to remove the hinge, unscrew screws 3 and nuts 4.

4. When installing in the reverse order, stops 1 and 2 can be used to adjust the height. When the hood is closed, these stops should lightly touch the lock bracket.

5. If the bonnet trim 1 was removed during dismantling, reattach it using clamps 2.

6. When installing the impact protection, do not cover the drainage holes. Install the profile and align it with the drainage holes. Press evenly on the profile.

7. Align the hood with the fenders. Height adjustment is done using the hood lock. The position of the hood with respect to the fenders can be adjusted using stops. The gap size must be observed!
