2. As described in paragraph 5, remove the timing belt tensioner, camshaft sprockets and fuel injection pump.
3. Remove the rear timing belt cover.
4. Remove the valve cover as described in paragraph 7.
5. As described in the relevant paragraphs chapters 2B, do the following:
- a) Unscrew the nuts and remove the cover of the N4 camshaft support. Pull off the old oil seal from the camshaft nose.
- b) Moisten the new oil seal with clean engine oil and place it on the camshaft.
- c) Apply a thin layer of suitable sealant to the mating surfaces of the support cover and install it, ensuring that the seal is correctly installed (Fig. 8.5). Tighten the cover mounting nuts evenly to the specified torque.
6. Install the camshaft cover as described in paragraph 7.
7. Install the rear timing belt cover and tighten its mounting bolts.
8. Install the camshaft sprockets, fuel injection pump and tensioner - see paragraph 5.
9. Install the auxiliary belts as described in paragraph 6.
