- Place the vehicle horizontally.
- With the engine running at idle speed, fully shift the steering two or three times, set the front wheels to the straight-ahead position and turn off the engine.
- To ensure accuracy, the engine must be warmed up to operating temperature; after the engine has stopped, do not turn the steering wheel any more.
1. The power steering reservoir is located on the left side of the engine compartment. Smoothly unscrew the cap, which has a built-in dipstick.
2. Make sure the fluid level is between the MIN and MAX marks, preferably closer to the MAX mark. If necessary, wipe the dipstick clean with a rag, screw the cap back on, and unscrew it again.
3. If additional fluid is required, add the prescribed type up to the MAX mark. Once the procedure is complete, tighten the cap.

A frequent need to top up the fluid indicates a leak that must be eliminated immediately.
