Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable as described in paragraph 1.
2. Remove the steering wheel - see chapter 10.
3. Unscrew the mounting screws and remove the steering column pads. To do this, you will also have to unscrew the screws and remove the steering wheel height adjustment handle pad (fig. 5.3, a-d).

4. Disconnect the wiring connectors at the rear of the steering column switch assembly (Fig. 5.4).
5. Loosen the clamping screw and remove the steering column switches from the steering column (fig. 5.5, a, b).

6. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the required part of the steering column switch (fig. 5.6, a, b).

Installation
7. Installation - reverse procedure. Make sure the electrical connections are secure and the assembled unit is operational.
