Hood
Removal
1. Open the hood completely, place a piece of cardboard or a rag under the corners to avoid scratching the polish when removing it.
2. Disconnect the windshield washer hoses from the sprayers and from the mountings on the hood.
3. Support the hood in the open position on both sides with a pair of wooden sticks. You can ask an assistant to support the hood instead.
4. Disconnect the air strut from the hood as described below.
5. Trace the hinges with a marker or pencil and loosen the four hinge mounting bolts (two on each side).
6. While unscrewing the hinge bolts, hold the hood. After unscrewing, remove the hood from the car.
Installation and adjustment
7. Installation - reverse procedure. Fasten the hinges in accordance with the marks applied. Initially, close the hood very carefully - an error in adjustment can cause damage to the body. If necessary, adjust the position of the hood in the opening by moving the hinges. Adjust the front gap between the hood and the body by rotating the rubber buffers.
8. Check that the hood closes and opens properly. Make sure that after pulling the hood lock cable with the handle, the safety latch holds the hood fully open.

9. Support the hood with two wooden folders on both sides. Alternatively, you can ask an assistant to support the hood
10. Use thin-nose pliers to unhook the upper and lower strut support fasteners.
11. Remove the small axle from the upper support and remove the strut from the lower bracket.
Installation
12. Installation - reverse procedure. The thicker part of the rack is attached to the hood.
