Blowing out the air filter insert (Audi A4 B5)

Every 15,000 km or annually, we recommend cleaning the paper filter insert from large dust particles. When driving on very dusty roads, this interval can be reduced to daily cleaning.

Execution order

1. Remove the paper filter insert as described above.

2. Tap the filter against a hard surface to remove coarse dirt particles.

3. If you need to remove fine dust, you need to blow compressed air from the side of the filter plates. Never direct the compressed air stream directly at the filter paper! Otherwise, some of the dust grains will be firmly pressed into the pores of the filter.

4. Wipe the filter housing with a clean cloth.

5. Reinstall the filter.
