Removal fuel lines and fuel hoses
1. Cleanliness is the basic law when working on the fuel system. You must first clean at least the dirt from the area where the work will be done so that dirt does not get into the open fuel lines.
2. Loosen the clamps: Use pliers to flatten the metal loop around its perimeter. This will cause the clamp to expand and allow the fuel hose to be removed using a twisting motion.
3. If this is not possible, place an open-end wrench on the end of the hose and use it to squeeze the hose.
4. When installing, you must use screw clamps instead of clamps.
Important: The fuel system may remain under pressure for a long time after the engine has been turned off.
5. When unscrewing the fuel line, keep a rag handy to prevent gasoline from splashing into your eyes.
