Dismantling of fuel lines and fuel hoses
1. Cleanliness is the basic law when working on the fuel system. You must first clean at least the dirt from the area where the work will be done in order to prevent dirt from getting into open fuel lines.
2. Loosening the clamping collars: flatten the metal loop around its perimeter with tongs. As a result, the clamping collar expands and the fuel hose can be removed with a twisting movement.
3. If this is not possible, place an open-end wrench on the end of the hose and wring out the hose with it.
4. When mounting, you must use screw clamps instead of clamping clamps.
Important: The fuel system may remain under pressure for a long time after the engine has been switched off.
5. When unscrewing the gas line, keep a rag ready so that you do not splash gasoline in your eyes.
