3 - clutch release bearing

8 - clutch pedal
Each time you press the clutch pedal, the friction linings of the driven disc come into contact with opposite surfaces and, as a result of friction, heat up and wear out. The most wear occurs when starting off at high engine speeds, starting off in 2nd gear, and when the driver does not take their foot off the clutch pedal while driving.
