2 - gasket. Replace if damaged.
3 - dipstick for measuring the oil level. The difference between the min and max marks is 1 l.
4 - feeler gauge guide
5 - bolt or temperature sensor, 10 Nm. To determine the oil temperature.
6 - oil pressure switch 1.8 bar, 25 Nm. Diesel: 0.3 bar.
7 - gasket
8 - oil pump flange
9 - bolt, 20 Nm
10 - gasket
11 - oil pressure switch sensor 0.3 bar, 25 Nm. For diesel 1.4 bar: for turbodiesel 0.9 bar.
12 - seal
13 - Oil radiator. Only 82/83 kW (112/113 hp)
14 - nut, 25 Nm
15 - Oil filter. Tighten by hand.
16 - Oil injection nozzle. For piston cooling. Only for fuel injection engines and turbodiesels.
17 - bolt, 10 Nm. Insert with sealing compound VW AMV 188 100 02.
18 - seal. Replace if damaged.
19 - mounting bolt, Nm
20 - inlet manifold
21 - mounting bolt, 20 Nm
22 - gears
23 - Oil pump covers with pressure reducing valve
24 - Oil pan gasket. Do not glue. Maintain correct position.
25 - oil pan
26 - oil pan mounting bolt, 20 Nm
27 - oil drain plug, 30 Nm; 5-cylinder engine: 40 Nm
