The TCI-H ignition system uses a Hall sensor in the distributor, which switches the low-voltage circuit of the ignition coil with a separate transistor switch unit. The ignition timing is controlled by a centrifugal and vacuum unit on the distributor. These mechanisms provide the greatest effect for the engine.
