1. In case of leakage through plugs (photo), they can be replaced as follows. First drain the cooling system as described in Chapter 3.
2. Measure the installation depth of the plug.
3. Drill one or two small holes in the cork, use self-tapping screws and a pair of claws to pull out the cork. If the cork is rusty, drill a larger hole and pry it out.
4. Clear a basic surface in the block of cylinders, then grease with an insulator around an aperture. Use an insulator suitable for the cooling system parts.
5. Using a large socket or piece of metal tubing, drive a new plug into the block to the previously marked depth.
6. Fill the cooling system as described in chapter 5.
