Withdrawal
Loosen the wheel hub nut.
Put the car on a lift and remove the wheel.
Loosen the bolts securing the wheel drive shaft inner joint to the differential output shaft flange.
Disconnect the wheel drive shaft from the differential output shaft flange.
On all vehicles, except for vehicles with engines of the FZ and EP models, mark the position of the ball joint of the suspension arm relative to the arm; On vehicles with a manual gearbox, disconnect the ball joint from the right front suspension arm.
Using a puller, press the splined end of the drive shaft out of the wheel hub.
Remove wheel drive.
Warning. If it is necessary to move the vehicle after the drive wheels are crushed, replace the outer joint to prevent damage to the wheel bearing.
Installation
Insert the wheel drive shaft into the hub.
On all vehicles, except for vehicles with engines of the FZ and EP models, install the ball joint on the right front suspension arm, screw on the ball joint bolt nut and tighten it to a torque of 6.5 kgf·m, observing the marks made during removal.
Screw on a new wheel nut.
Install and tighten the bolts securing the wheel drive shaft inner joint to the differential output shaft flange.
Install the wheel.
Lower the car and place blocks under the wheels.
Tighten the hub nut to a torque of 23.0 kgf·m and lock it.
Install wheel cover.
Check and, if necessary, adjust the camber of the front wheels.
Front wheel drive shaft details: 1, 13 - retaining rings; 2 - body of the internal hinge; 3, 11 - disc washers; 4 - cover; 5 - a bolt of fastening of the internal hinge; 6, 7, 8, 10, 15 - clamps; 12 - support sleeve; 14 - outer hinge; 16 - locking plate.
