Removal and installation the clutch release bearing
It is prohibited to wash the clutch release bearing. If increased noise occurs when disengaging the clutch, replace the bearing.
Remove the clutch release fork retaining springs.
Remove the clutch release bearing from the guide into the hub and unfasten the retaining clips.
Note: Do not apply grease to the clutch release bearing guide sleeve.
Place the clutch release bearing together with the retaining clips onto the guide sleeve. Install the two mounting springs onto the bearing, then onto the clutch release fork axles.
Make sure that the return spring moves the clutch release fork toward the gearbox housing. Check the distance "A" (see photo) between the clutch release fork lever and the cable sheath tip stopper with the clutch pedal released, which should be 169 mm.

Adjusting the clutch pedal free travel
Check the free travel of the clutch pedal before the clutch starts to disengage, which should not exceed 15 mm. If necessary, adjust the free travel of the clutch medallion as follows:
- uncontour the top (shown by the arrow in the photo) and the lower adjusting nuts of the clutch cable;
- use the upper adjusting nut to achieve the desired free travel of the clutch pedal;
- tighten the lower adjustment nut, then lock both adjustment nuts.
Turning the adjusting nuts clockwise decreases the free play of the clutch pedal, and vice versa.
