Crankshaft
The crankshaft is steel, forged, five-bearing, with four counterweights. There are lubrication grooves in the upper shells of the main bearings. Axial fixation of the crankshaft is carried out by shells with thrust flanges of the bearing of the 3rd main journal.
Diameter of main and connecting rod journals
Crankshaft axial clearance, mm:
- nominal: 0.07-0.18;
- maximum permissible - 0.20.
Clearance between liners and main journals of the crankshaft, mm:
- nominal: 0.03-0.08;
- maximum permissible (when worn out): 0,17.
Flywheel
The flywheel is attached to the crankshaft flange with six bolts. Maximum permissible flywheel runout, not less than, mm: 0.08.
Pistons
The pistons are made of aluminum alloy with steel inserts. The piston bottom has a combustion chamber. Each piston has two compression rings and one oil scraper ring. To install the piston in the cylinder, there is an arrow on the piston bottom that should point toward the camshaft drive. The piston diameter is indicated on the piston bottom and is measured at a distance of 15 mm from the lower edge of the piston skirt at an angle of 90° relative to the axis of the piston pin.
Piston brands:
- Mahle;
- KS.
Piston pins
The piston pin is floating. It is held from axial displacement by two retaining rings.
Piston pin length, mm: 58.
Piston rings
Each piston has three rings: two compression rings and one oil scraper ring.
Gap in the lock, mm:
- compression rings: 0.3-0.45;
- oil scraper ring: 0.25-0.40.
Maximum permissible wear clearance, mm: 1.0.
Clearance between compression ring and piston groove, mm:
- nominal: 0.02-0.05;
- maximum permissible wear: 0.15.
Connecting rods
Connecting rods are steel, forged, with an I-section rod, with thin-walled liners. A bushing is pressed into the upper head of the connecting rod.
Clearance between bearing shells and connecting rod journals of the crankshaft, mm:
- nominal: 0.02-0.076;
- maximum permissible wear: 0.095.
Axial clearance of connecting rod on crankshaft journal, mm:
- nominal: 0.05-0.31;
- maximum permissible wear: 0.40.
Connecting rod upper head bushing hole diameter, mm: 22.017-22.023.
Clearance between piston pin and upper head bushing, mm: 0.003-0.007.
