Remove the oil pump cover and visually determine its condition; if deep scratches are found, grind or replace the cover.
Remove gears 2 and 3 (see photo) oil pump and determine the degree of wear.
Check with a set of probes the gap between the teeth of the gears, as well as the gap between the ends of the gears and the plane of the pump housing, which should be within 0-0.13 mm and 0.03-0.06 mm, respectively. If clearances do not match specifications, replace worn parts.
Check the condition of the pressure reducing valve 4 and the elasticity of the valve spring.
