When performing the work listed below, make sure that no brake fluid gets into the plenum chamber or gearbox. Otherwise, thoroughly clean the contaminated area. Clamp the brake supply hose. fluid -2-to the brake reservoir. fluid using a hose clamp -3094- on the clutch master cylinder -1-, remove and plug the hose. To remove the locking bracket -3-, you need to unlock it with a screwdriver and pull it out until it stops. Disconnect pipe/hose line -4-. Connector - pos. 5- remains connected for now.
Remove the servo spring. Remove the locking pin -1 - from the clutch pedal -3-. -Pos. 2- and -arrows A, B- do not take into account.
Unlock clutch master cylinder using spanner wrench SW 32 -3355- in -direction of arrow-.
Remove the clutch master cylinder -1- and guide it through the opening for the engine wiring harness. Unlock and remove plug connector -5-.
Installation
Insert connector -5-. Install clutch master cylinder -1-. Guide clutch master cylinder into footwell -direction of arrow A-. At the same time, secure it using a spanner wrench SW 32 -3355- in -direction of arrow B-.
Install the locking pin -4-. The projection on the pin -arrow B- must fit into the groove in the clutch pedal. -Pos. 1, 2, 3- and -arrow A- are ignored.
Install the servo spring. Press in the locking clip -3- as far as it will go. Insert the pipe-hose line -4- into the clutch slave cylinder until it clicks audibly. To check, pull on the pipe-hose line. Push the brake supply hose. liquid -2- all the way. Remove hose clamp -3094-. Bleed the clutch. Install the switching block. Pay attention to the battery installation work.
