Withdrawal
Compress the supply hose -A- of the brake fluid reservoir to 25 mm -3094- with a hose clamp. Disconnect hose -A- from clutch master cylinder. Pull clamp -B- for tubular hose line out of master cylinder as far as it will go. Pull and close the pipe-hose line -C- from the master cylinder. Push clip -B- in again as far as it will go. Remove the pads from the bottom on the driver's side.
Now completely unscrew the clutch pedal support pad as follows: Unscrew the securing nuts -arrows 1- and remove the connecting plate -arrow A-. If present, disconnect the GRA switch. Then unscrew the bolts or nuts -arrows 2- from the support bracket -arrow B-. Remove support pad.
Disconnect drive/master cylinder linkage from clutch pedal as follows: insert pliers -T10005- into recesses on clutch pedal. Compress fastener -arrows- and detach clutch pedal from master cylinder.
Turn stop -A- of clutch pedal in -direction of arrow- and remove.
Then press the master cylinder first as far as it will go in -direction of arrow 1-. In the upper area, it must not be covered by the servo spring support -arrow 2-. Then pull it out in -direction of arrow 3-. from the cushion.
Installation
Install in reverse order, taking into account that the mounting -A- must be on the drive rod -B- of the master cylinder. To lock, press clutch pedal in -direction of arrow-, paying attention to correct locking.
Reinstall stop -A- of clutch pedal. Location: Clip -arrow- points towards master cylinder -B-. After installing the slave cylinder, bleed the air from the clutch assembly.
Push locking clip -A- in as far as it will go. Insert pipe -C- into master cylinder until it clicks audibly. Push the overflow hose -A- onto the brake fluid reservoir as far as it will go. After installing the master cylinder, bleed the clutch assembly.
