Removal
The CP has been removed. Remove the seal. flange on the belt pulley side. Remove the lower drive chain cover. Remove the accessory drive chain. Secure the balancer shaft at the front of the engine using the fuel injection pump pin -3359-. Unscrew the bolt and remove the balancer from the balancer shaft.
Unscrew bolts -arrows- from rear of engine and remove sprocket from balancer.
Remove bolt -arrow- from rear of engine and remove balancer from balancer shaft.
Unscrew the bolts -arrows- and remove the balancer shaft bearing cover. Remove the balancer shaft from the cylinder block.
Installation
Install in reverse order. The crankshaft -1- is secured in position using a locking screw -3242 "TDC". Install the accessory drive chain. Install the lower drive chain cover. Install seal. flange on the belt pulley side.
