Note: The left and right cylinder head gaskets cannot be mixed up; they have different shapes.
Cylinder head - bolt tightening sequence and torque
Replace the cylinder head bolts. Tighten the bolts in the sequence "1...8" in 5 stages as follows.
- 1. Tighten the bolts by hand until they stop.
- 2. Tighten to 35 Nm.
- 3. Tighten to 60 Nm.
- 4. Turn 90° further.
- 5. Turn 90° further.
