ATF oil filling volumes

Refueling volumesDual-clutch transmission 0B5 - ATF
Refilling by the manufacturerapprox. 7 to 7.5 l (1)
ATF volume when replacingapprox. 6.7 l
Replacement intervalIf present, replace the ATF replacement filter (2)
LubricationATF for dual-clutch transmissions 0B5

(1) The manufacturer fills the gearbox with 0.5 liters more than the norm. Excess filling is necessary because 0.5 l will be used after installation of the gearbox to fill the ATF radiator.

(2) On vehicles with a replaceable ATF filter, when changing the ATF oil, the ATF filter must also be changed.

Caution! Only genuine ATF supplied as a spare part may be used with the 0B5 dual-clutch transmission. Take into account compliance. Using other types of ATF will result in malfunctions or even gearbox failure. The ATF filling device must be clean, and ATF must not be mixed with other oils!

On the gearbox with a replaceable ATF filter "2"

Caution! Risk of damage to the transmission. When changing the ATF, always replace the ATF filter "2".

Replace the ATF replacement filter.

Replace the ATF replacement filter.

Oil fill volumes (MTF)

The manual transmission, front final drive and transfer case operate in a dual clutch transmission 0B5 with a common oil volume, filling and checking are carried out through a common filler hole. The transmission fluid in the dual clutch transmission 0B5 is also designated MTF.

Refueling volumesDual-clutch transmission 0B5 - oil (MTF)
Refilling by the manufacturerapprox. 4.35 l
