Tunnel crossmember, gearbox cushion and gearbox support
1. Nut: 20 Nm.
2. Bolt: 70 Nm.
3. Bolt: 40 Nm.
4. Nut: 20 Nm.
5. KP support.
6. Gearbox cushion.
7. Lower support of the gearbox cushion.
8. Bolt: 20 Nm + turn 90° further; replace.
9. Tunnel crossbar.
Removal
Remove the rear noise insulation shield "2". Install the engine and transmission lift stand with the gearbox support -T.10337- mounted under the gearbox. Slightly raise the gearbox using the engine and transmission lift.
Unscrew the bolts of the tunnel cross member "arrow".
Unscrew the arrow nuts and remove the tunnel cross member.
Installation in reverse order. Install soundproofing.
Removal and installation the gearbox support with gearbox cushion
Remove the tunnel cross member. Unscrew the arrow bolts and remove the gearbox support with the gearbox cushion from the gearbox.
Installation in reverse order. Bolt the gearbox support with the gearbox cushion to the gearbox "arrows". Install the tunnel crossmember.
Removal and installation the gearbox cushion
Remove the gearbox support with the gearbox mount. Unscrew bolts "1" and remove the lower support "2" of the gearbox mount. Unscrew nut "4" and remove gearbox mount "5" from gearbox support "3".
Installation
Install gearbox support "3" onto gearbox mount "5" and tighten nut "4" by hand. Attach lower stop "2" with bolts "1". Tighten nut "4". Install gearbox support with gearbox mount.
