Removal and installation the left catalytic converter - vehicles with multitronic 0AW/automatic transmission 0B6
The gearbox has been removed. Remove the "1" connector from the holder and disconnect it from the "G131" oxygen sensor 2 after the catalytic converter. Ignore "Pos. 2, 3, 4" and "arrows.".
Unscrew the "arrow" nuts and remove the left catalytic converter. For better understanding of the montage. the position is shown with the engine removed. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Replace gaskets and self-locking nuts.
Secondary air supply system
1. Nut: 9 Nm.
2. Rubber-metal support.
3. Secondary air supply fan motor "V101": connect the plug connector to the bracket.
4. Sealing rings: replace.
5. Secondary air hose.
6. Mounting clip.
7. Sealing ring: replace.
8. Gasket: replace.
9. Bolts: 9 Nm.
10. Right secondary air supply combination valve.
11. Bolt: 9 Nm.
12. Secondary air hose.
13. Bolt: 9 Nm.
14. Left secondary air supply combination valve.
15. Bolts: 9 Nm.
16. Gasket: replace.
17. Bolt: 9 Nm.
18. Secondary air hose bracket.
19. Sealing ring: replace.
20. Secondary air hose.
21. Bracket of the secondary air supply pump motor "V101".
22. Bolt: 9 Nm.
Secondary air injection combination valve heat shield - tightening torque
Tighten the heat shield "arrow" bolts "1" to a torque of 9 Nm.
