Exhaust manifold

1. Nut: replace; lubricate the threads with heat-resistant paste; 25 Nm. 2. Exhaust manifold. 3/4. Gasket: replace. 5. Bolt: replace; lubricate the threads with heat-resistant paste; 30 Nm + turn further by 90°.
Tightening sequence and torque
Replace the nuts. Lubricate the threads of the nuts with heat-resistant paste for bolts.
Tighten the nuts in 3 stages in the specified order.

Exhaust gas recirculation system
1. EGR pipe: to intake manifold.
2. Bolt.
3. Gasket: replace.
4. System temperature sensor. eGR "G98": 45 Nm.
5. Bolt: 9 Nm.
6. Radiator system. exhaust gas recirculation.
7. Gasket: replace.
8. Air bleed screw.
9. Lip seal: replace.
10. Support.
11. Sealing rings: replace.
12. Gasket: replace.
13. Servo motor system. eGR "V338": with system potentiometer. exhaust gas recirculation "G212".
14/15. Bolt: 9 Nm.
16. Coolant temperature sensor "G62".
17. Gasket: replace.
18. Bolt.
19. EGR pipe: from turbocharger; after loosening the clamp "pos. 21" it is necessary to replace the system tube. eGR and threaded clamp.
20. Gasket: replace.
21. Screw clamp: replace.
22. Bolt: 9 Nm.
23. Sealing ring: replace.
24. Fitting for system hoses. engine cooling.
25. Bolt.
26. Screw clamp: replace.
27. Gasket: replace.
Exhaust gas pipe on the intake manifold - torque and sequence, tightening
The protrusion on the EGR pipe must not be wavy or curved. Install the system pipe. eGR with seals and screw clamp. Lubricate the threads of the nuts with heat-resistant paste for bolts.

Turbocharger Exhaust Pipe - Torque and Sequence, Tightening
Replace the system tube. eGR and threaded clamp after loosening the threaded clamp. Bolts tightened at the tightening angle should be replaced. Install the system pipe. eGR with seals and screw clamp. Lubricate the threads of the nuts with heat-resistant paste for bolts.
