Oil pump and lower part of oil. pallet


1. Lower part of the oil. pallet.
2. Bolt: replace.
3. Bolt: self-locking; replace; 8 Nm + 90°.
4. Oil separator.
5. Oil pump: do not disassemble; with 11 bar cold relief valve and 3.5 bar pressure reducing valve.
6. Bolt: 23 Nm.
7. Mounting bushings.
8. Drive shaft oil. pump.
9. Leash.
10. Pressure spring.
11. Crankshaft axial fixing insert.
12. Oil sprocket. pump: mounting position: the side with the inscription faces the engine.
13. Bolt: to loosen, hold the sprocket with the pin wrench "3212"; 60 Nm; if the bolt cannot be tightened to the correct torque, remove the lower part of the oil. pan and partition and hold the oil drive shaft with an open-end wrench. pump from turning.
14. Lip seal: replace.
15. Oil drain plug: 30 Nm.
16. Lip seal: replace.
17. Nut: 9 Nm.
18. Oil level and temperature sensor "G266".

Lower part of the oil. pallet - last, and tightening torque of bolts



Replace the "arrow" bolts of the lower part of the oil. pump. Tighten the bolts crosswise in 3 stages as follows. "Pos. 1" should not be taken into account.



1. Pre-tighten to 5 Nm. 2. Tighten to 8 Nm. 3. Tighten further by 90°.

Piston cooling oil nozzle

Do not bend oil nozzles to spray oil. The curved oil spray nozzles must be replaced.


Removal and installation of oil. pump

Remove bolts "1" and "2". Grasp drive shaft "3" of the oil pump using pliers "VAS 6226" and turn it back, overcoming the force of the spring. Remove the oil pump. Oil drive shaft. the pump remains installed.

Install



Installation in reverse order. Check if 2 centering bushings are installed in the oil pump. If there are no centering bushings, insert them. Install the lower part of the oil. pan. Fill with oil and check its level.
