1. Crankshaft oil seal on the gearbox side.

2. Ring gear: engine speed sensor "G28".
3. Lower cover of the drive chain.
4. Guide bushing: 2 pcs.
5. Bolt: replace.
6. Bolt: 9 Nm.
7. Lid.
8. Sealing ring: replace.
9. Bolt: replace.
10. Left drive chain cover.
11. Gasket: replace.
12. Bolt: replace.
13. Bolt: 9 Nm.
14. Vacuum pump.
15. Sealing rings: replace.
16. Right drive chain cover.
17. Gasket: replace.
18. Bolt: replace.
19. Guide bushing: 2 pcs.
20. Sealing element: 2 pcs.
21. Engine speed sensor "G28".
22/23. Bolt.

Tighten the bolts in 4 stages as follows.

Lower drive chain cover - bolt tightening torque and sequence



Tighten the lower timing chain cover bolts in 3 steps as follows.

1. Pre-tighten bolts «1...9» from the inside out crosswise to a torque of 5 Nm. 2. Tighten bolts…

1. Pre-tighten bolts "1...9" from the inside out crosswise to a torque of 5 Nm. 2. Tighten bolts "1...7", starting with the inner bolts, crosswise to a torque of 9 Nm. 3. Tighten screws "8" and "9" to a torque of 23 Nm.
