Crash sensors for airbags. (sedan)
1. Front Airbag Driver Crash Sensor. "G283"; installation location; on the headlight housing bracket; 9 Nm.
2. Front airbag collision sensor, front passenger seat "G284"; installation location: on the headlight housing bracket; 9 Nm.
3. Side airbag collision sensor, front side. passage. "GI80"; installation location; at the door; 5 Nm.
4. Rear impact sensor. side airbag from the front side. passage. "G257"; installation location: on the wheel arch, inside behind the side trim; 9 Nm.
5. Rear impact sensor. side airbag on the driver's side. "G256"; installation location: on the wheel arch, inside behind the side trim; 9 Nm.
6. Driver side airbag impact sensor. "G179"; installation location: in the door; 5 Nm.
Removal and installation the front airbag crash sensor
Turn on the ignition. Disconnect the battery ground cable with the ignition on. Remove the front fender liner. Disconnect the plug connection "1"; to do this, unlock the retainer "4" "arrow". Unscrew the bolts "3" and remove the front airbag crash sensor "2".
Installation in reverse order. Please note that the plug connections must be inserted all the way until they click into place. Please note that the wires should not be pinched. Connect the battery ground cable with the ignition on.
Seat position sensor
1. Lower frame of the recess.
2. Seat position sensor: driver's side: driver's seat position sensor. "G553"; from the lane. passenger: front seat position sensor. passage. "G554".
3. Bolt: 0.3 Nm.
